The Blue Room is a beautifully proportioned square room about 4 x 4 metres, with original high ceiling and wooden decorative panels overlaid on white plasterwork.  The light is good, having a south facing bay window and west facing 1920's glass panelled double doors onto a verandah which has been partially enclosed for privacy and discrete entry. This room contains a blue settee and four armchairs upholstered in fabric painted by West Australian artist Pamela Walter.  A reconditioned jarrah desk sits in the bay window.  A central carpet leaves jarrah boards exposed to view, giving the room a sense of warmth and calm.
